All Equal projects ended on the 31st December 2007 and the project office has also closed. Information about all the projects can be found on the equal-works.com.  

       Equal is funded through the European Social Fund  

       Community Initiative to test and promote new means of

       combating all forms of discrimination and inequalities in

         the labour market, both for those in work and for those

       seeking work. Equal funds activities implemented by

        strategic partnerships called Development

       Partnerships (DPs).  Details of all DPs can be found at

        NEXT STEPS

The DP has a responsibility to inform as widely as possible the benefits of learning English in a health related work context.

The project has had stands at  both the NHS Confederation and HR in the NHS Conferences.  Plans are underway to inform communities in the three test areas of Liverpool, Sheffield and London.
